Hello dear readers!
Here I am again to talk about my beloved hometown.. As I said at the first post about São Paulo (Welcome to São Paulo), once in while I'll write about the city and many things to do we've got around here.
I was told that foreign people coming here, even knowing São Paulo is a multicultural city with many options, like to see the most brazilian things as they can, and here surely you can have this too. Don't expect to see so many samba parades as in Rio, but going to the right place you can enjoy our brazility, if I can say so.
First of all, are you looking to hear typical music? Okay, let's point some places:
Traço de União (Samba)

Villa Mix (Country Music of Brazil)
http://www.villamixsp.com.br/
Most of the single people in São Paulo goes to this country music club located at Vila Olímpia. Lot's of live shows.
Rosas de Ouro (Samba School)

Not everytime of the year you can go there, it's good specially some months before Carnival when they perform kind of a test of what they'll present at the parade.
Roda Viva (MPB - Popular Brazilian Music)
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Roda-Viva/205989496086461
The owner loves Chico Buarque, a famous composer and singer of MPB. The place is all decorated with his albuns. Good prices for the beer, but don't forget they don't get any cards, only cash.
As a terrible brazilian, I don't like any of this type of music, but I truly understand those who wants to come and see what we've only got in Brazil. Enjoy as much as you can!
What about some typical brazilian restaurants? In the first post dedicated to the tourists coming from abroad I've pointed some of my favourite restaurants in town, but they may be a little to international with a bit of everyplace in the world. So, if you're coming to Brazil you want to taste our delites, right? As you wish, here are some tips of good restaurants you can enjoy:
Mocotó
Av. Nossa Senhora do Loreto, 1.100 - Vila Medeiros
http://www.mocoto.com.br/english/index.html
An unpretentious and simple place with one of the most delicious food I've ever tasted with excellent prices. Most of the recipes comes from northeast of Brazil, offering many different plates. My advice is to get there early considering it gets really crowded and people forms a big line in front of the restaurant waiting for hours to sit. Chef Rodrigo Oliveira already collect some prizes for the best brazilian food.
Tordesilhas
Rua Bela Cintra, 465 - Jardins

Chef Mara Salles is a great brazilian food researcher. Offers recipes from all the regions of Brazil in a very cozy place in one of most charming neighbourhoods in São Paulo.
Bananeira
Rua Marechal Hastinfilo de Moura, 417 - Morumbi

This restaurant offers typical brazilian food in a beach-themed place. You can have dishes from all over Brazil enjojying a little bit of the nature around the minimalist space.
Andrade
Rua Arthur de Azevedo, 874 - Pinheiros

Typical food from the northeast, this restaurant offers many options in a very simple place, decorated just like the old houses in the Northeast. There you can feel a little bit of this rich culture with live performances of "Forró", a tradicional music of the region.
Consulado Mineiro
Rua Professor Arthur Ramos, 187 - Cidade Jardim
http://www.consuladomineiro.com.br
Considered one of the best food from the state of Minas Gerais in São Paulo, famous for its typical gastronomy. Prices are very friendly!
For today that's it! Hope you like and enjoy São Paulo on your next trip!
See ya!
